Meet Our Founder
Doron Bergerbest-Eilon
Founder and CEO
Doron Bergerbest-Eilon is a globally recognized authority in homeland security, aviation security, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, and geopolitical risks, with over four decades of senior leadership experience spanning Israel's public sector and international advisory roles. He served as Director of Protection and Security for the State of Israel, appointed by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, holding a rank equivalent to Major General and Israel's most senior national counterterrorism and security official. In this capacity, he held executive responsibility for the protection of Israeli dignitaries; international and domestic border crossings; civil aviation (including foreign carriers operating in Israel); maritime assets; ports; and Israeli vessels abroad. He also directed protection for Israel's Prime Minister, President, senior ministers, and visiting foreign dignitaries, as well as official delegations overseas. His tenure coincided with the Second Intifada, requiring innovative and sustained responses to elevated threats targeting aviation, borders, and national infrastructure. Widely regarded as a pioneer of Israel's national cyber defense discipline, Mr. Bergerbest-Eilon led the early integration of cyber risk into national security strategy and infrastructure resilience. He established and oversaw two foundational national authorities: the Authority for the Protection of Classified State Information and the founder of the Authority for Cyber Defense, responsible for safeguarding critical sectors including communication, energy, transportation, healthcare, and water, among others. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the U.S. Secret Service Director's Recognition Award, the organization's highest commendation. Following his public service career, Mr. Bergerbest-Eilon founded and serves as Chairman of ASERO Consulting Services Ltd., an international consulting and training firm specializing national resilience and business continuity, advising governments, regulators, and major corporations worldwide. In parallel, he is a co-founder of Aperio, a cybersecurity and data protection company specializing in operational technology (OT) and critical infrastructure, which completed a Series A investment led by "National Grid". Since 2006, he has served on the Security Advisory Board of Pictet Asset Management, advising on geopolitical and security risk for large global investment portfolios. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Middle East Institute at the National University of Singapore, and serves as Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Palau to Israel. Mr. Bergerbest-Eilon holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Political Science with a specialization in national security from the University of Haifa, and is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at Tel Aviv University.
Recipient of the U.S. Secret Service Director's Recognition Award — among other prestigious international honors for service in national security.
